$1,000 New Look Laser Tattoo Removal Semiannual Scholarship
Twice each year, New Look awards merit-based scholarships for students pursuing higher education with an emphasis in one of the following fields: nursing, medicine, natural or applied sciences, or engineering.

Congratulations to our latest scholarship winner Alicia Towner from San Francisco, California. Alicia will be attending the School of Nursing at University of California San Francisco as she works towards her goal of becoming an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. We look forward to following up with Alicia as she continues her program.
How To Apply
Deadline: Scholarships will be awarded twice per year. Spring Scholarship applications must be postmarked by November 30, 2012 and will be awarded by December 31, 2012. Fall Scholarship applications must be postmarked by June 30, 2013 and will be awarded by July 31, 2013.
Award: $1,000 awarded to each recipient; $2,000 total awarded per year
Eligibility: US citizens or permanent residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in Fall 2012 or Spring of 2013.
Application: Three components must be submitted for your entry: (A) Application Form, (B) Small Writing Project, and (C) Copy of transcript.

(B) Small Writing Project:
On a website, blog, or online forum, write a 200-400 word post that expresses your opinion of the societal impact of laser tattoo removal, using the New Look Laser Tattoo Removal Tattoo Removal Guide as a resource. You must include a link within the website or blog post to the New Look website or our tattoo removal guide.
Criteria for evaluation: the best posts will give clear details, avoid grammatical or spelling errors, demonstrate creativity, and weave in the applicant’s personal thoughts. They must also include a link from the website or blog to the New Look website.
(C) Transcript:
Include, or have sent, a current transcript (either official or an unofficial printed copy) to the address below. All materials must be postmarked by June 30, 2013 for the upcoming Fall Scholarship.
